UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE

Our college and university program has partnered with Sault College and Algoma University to promote the On-Campus Entrepreneurship Activities program. Promoting entrepreneurship on campus by providing students with an opportunity to take part in entrepreneurial activities, connect with entrepreneurial opportunities in the community, and access business resources while still in your studies. 

We also offer advisory services to youth aged 18-29 who are interested in or have started their own business. Need help taking the next step or have an idea and not sure what to do now? Everything third Tuesday of the month between September and March you are invited to Algoma University or Sault College to try our special coffee roast "The Hustle" from St. Joseph Island Coffee Roasters. Along with a chance to meet other entrepreneurial organizations that can help you build your business ideas. 

YouBrew: MORNING COFFEE BREAK

We host and partner in a variety of larger special events for youth aged 18-29 in the Algoma region such as:

  • The Business Blitz (2018)

  • Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) Algoma (2017, 2019)

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year we host a variety of contests to help kick start your business ideas and give you a chance to win some start up funding dollars. 

CONTESTS

From September to March, we will run six workshops on a variety of topics to help you build your business. If you attend all six workshops throughout your studies you will earn the coveted Innovative Entrepreneur Certificate. 

If you can only make one or two, you can add the individual workshop as a link to your LinkedIn profile.
